WELCOME

The Port Washington Children’s Center was established in 1977 as a non-profit, non-sectarian childcare center. Our center is licensed by New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

We are open year round, Monday through Friday, from 7:15am to 6:30pm, closing for legal holidays and two staff development days.

We accept children from the toddler-age of 18 months through the school-age of 12 years, whose families reside in Port Washington or whose parents work in the community.

Your mind will be at ease as our highly qualified staff provides a truly terrific place for your child to thrive and grow.

The PWCC has made it possible for me to work, knowing my child is under the guidance of a caring staff and is thriving as well as enjoying her days at the Children's Center.
